Christina Brockmöller is a pianist, educator, and a former member of the piano faculty at New York University, Steinhardt. Her musical path features solo performance, chamber collaborations, and international appearances in Europe, alongside versatile work in new music, collaborations with dance, and music technology. Uniquely informed by a past chapter in the medical field, Christina pairs an active artistic practice as the founder and director of NYC Piano Arts.
Piano instruction is structured, individualized, and grounded in classical tradition expanded into new music and comprehensive music study. Drawing from multiple integrated pedagogical approaches rather than a singular fixed method system, lessons apply flexible pedagogical principles tailored to the student to build physical ease, technical clarity, and independent mastery of the instrument.
